Bob Warner, M.D.
Dr. Robert “Bob” Warner is joined the medical staff at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in September 2014. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mississippi and his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a Vascular and Thoracic Residency at The University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Warner brings more than 30 years of experience to AMMC.

The goal of the AMMC Surgery Clinic is to serve patients with high quality, compassionate, general, vascular, and thoracic surgical care. Some examples of these types of surgery are:
Vascular surgeries available include: open aortic, carotid artery, lower extremity and dialysis access. Endovascular Minimally Invasive Aortic Aneurysm Surgery, arterial angioplasty with stenting is also available. Minimally invasive vein/laser surgery, ports and central lines are available.
Thoracic procedures encompass lung, pleural and esophageal surgery as well as thorascopy, bronchoscopy, and mediastinoscopy. Chest tubes, thoracentesis, tracheostomy and lymph node biopsies can be done as well.
General surgery procedures include open and laparoscopic surgeries. These include breast surgery, parathyroid/thyroid surgery, cholecystectomy, inguinal/ventral hernias, gastric/small bowel surgery, and laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery. Colon surgery (both open and minimally invasive) is available. In addition, paracentesis, PEG tubes, EGDs, colonoscopies I&D of abscesses and lesion removal are able to be performed.
