Dennis Cooper serves as the Director of Human Resources at AMMC, a role he has held since 2005. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas and a master of educational administration from Arkansas State University.

Mr. Cooper is a 23-year veteran of the United States Air Force.  In addition to assignments in the U.S., he served in Guam, England, South Korea and Germany.  Some of his Air Force highlights include being the Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for the USAF Hospital, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico and Educator of the Year for the School of Aerospace Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.

He is a graduate of Leadership Paragould, a program that provides training in various concepts of leadership skills and awareness of issues facing the community.  Mr. Cooper also helped to organize the program as well as serve as its chair.

Mr. Cooper's educational background has led him to develop many programs within the medical center concerning staff training as well as wellness programs which educate and empower employees to take an active role in improving their own health. 

Mr. Cooper serves as President of the Arkansas Human Resources Association and is Chapter Development Director for the Arkansas Society for Human Resources Management State Council. He is a Rotary Board Member, a Rotary Citizen of The Year and Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year.
