AMMC Names Jeff Estes Ambulance Base Coordinator
Arkansas Methodist Medical Center’s Jeff Estes, RN, has recently been named the Ambulance Base Coordinator for AMMC’s bases located in Paragould, Corning and Rector. He oversees the bases, makes sure that all operations are functioning at optimal levels including maintaining the fleet of vehicles used to respond to emergent calls. He also serves as a paramedic and helps provide patient care, when needed.
Estes graduated from Black River Technical College in 2001 with his Paramedic Degree and most recently completed his Associate of Science in Nursing Degree through Excelsior College in Albany, New York.
According to Chief Nursing Officer Debra Vassar, RN, "Jeff has been a part of the team at AMMC for 10 years and we are glad to have him on our staff and now serving as the coordinator of our three ambulance bases."
Estes started at AMMC in 2001 as an EMT. Since then, he has worked as a paramedic and as the assistance ambulance base director. He is a member of the Greene County Rescue Squad and also teaches classes at Black River Technical College.
Jeff and his wife Melanie have one daughter, Addison.
