AMMC Patient Liaison Receives Award

Brinda McKinney, RN, MSN, Patient Liaison and Service Excellence Coordinator at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center recently received the Founder's "Lamplighter" Award at the 11th annual Healthcare Service Excellence Conference, held January 26-28, 2011 in New Orleans, LA.
Brian Lee, CSP, founder of the Healthcare Service Excellence Conference, said that the award is presented to an individual who best exemplifies, through their actions and leadership, the principles of World Class Service Excellence and that if there wasn’t a Founder’s Award, that he would have had to create one to honor Brinda.
"The award recognizes Brinda’s hard work, innovation and dedication to AMMC. Brinda’s work with our team of employees, nurses, physicians and administrators, has produced truly outstanding breakthroughs in our patient experience," said Ron Rooney, Arkansas Methodist Medical Center President/CEO.
Brinda serves as the president of the Greene County Business and Professional Women’s Association, is a board member of the Mission Outreach of Northeast Arkansas, a member of the Arkansas Health Occupations Educators Association as well as Phi Theta Kappa.
