AMMC Director of Admissions Named ARKHAM President

Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Director of Admissions Joy Middleton, CHAA, CHAM, has been elected by the membership of Arkansas Healthcare Access Managers Association (ARKHAM) to serve as president on the ARKHAM Board of Directors. She will serve a two-year term.
Working in healthcare for more than 30 years, Middleton has worked her way up through the field to her current position. She served the ARKHAM previously as Secretary and Vice President. She is Certified Healthcare Access Associate and Certified Healthcare Access Management certified.
NAHAM is a 1,600 person membership organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the management of Patient Access Services in all areas of the healthcare delivery system. Headquartered in Washington DC, it serves the national interests of its members and acts as a central clearinghouse and resource center. Through its broad membership network NAHAM serves as a virtual repository for an extensive collection of technical information. A provider of high quality educational opportunities of particular interest to access managers, NAHAM also assists state, local and regional patient access associations in offering unmatched opportunities for continuing education, professional growth, creativity, and personal achievement.
