AMMC Foundation Hosts Donor Appreciation Ceremony

The Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Foundation held a donor appreciation ceremony today in honor of all of the special gifts given to The Foundation in the last several months. Donors’ names were placed on a plaque on the Foundation Wall of Thanks located in The Herget Atrium at the medical center. Donors also received a framed keepsake of their plaque and attended a reception after the unveiling. Foundation representatives Terry Austin and Teresa Vangilder, members of The Foundation Board and Administration were on hand to unveil the new plaques. The donations for the 57 plaques totaled more than $163,000.
The AMMC Foundation works to raise funds to support and strengthen Arkansas Methodist Medical Center’s efforts in the areas of financial development, the quality delivery of healthcare and greater public awareness through education and community relations. It is a mission of caring. The Foundation was formed in 1992, by a group of dedicated, community-minded individuals to provide a means of philanthropic support to meet the present and future needs of the medical center.
