AMMC Hosts Home for the Holidays Cooking Show

Arkansas Methodist Medical Center will host Home for the Holidays Cooking Show to benefit Project Hope at the Paragould Community Center gymnasium Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Cooking segments will be presented by local restaurateurs featuring holiday dishes. Libby and Robby Glasco, owners of Kiss the Cook, will prepare appetizers; AMMC’s Certified Diabetes Educator Pat Malone, RN, will prepare an entrée and side dish and Nancye and Kathy Gage of Red Goose Deli will prepare a dessert. Audience members will receive a recipe booklet of dishes presented and will also have the opportunity to win door prizes, including pre-prepared portions of the dishes presented at the show. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and may be purchased by calling (870) 239-7077.
Proceeds from the Home for the Holidays Cooking Show will benefit Project Hope. Project Hope is a women’s healthcare initiative sponsored by The Women’s Council at The Foundation at AMMC and is devoted to providing breast cancer education as well as free mammograms to women with no insurance or other means to pay.
