Wilcox Named Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Director
Don Wilcox, MS, PT, has been named the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Director at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He is responsible for overseeing the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department including admissions, day-to-day operations, personnel matters and ensuring the general health and well-being of the facility. Prior to being named the director, Wilcox served as the Clinical Coordinator or the department for three years.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Department provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services with medical oversight and full nursing care for patients who require short, intensive rehab after a stroke, trauma or because of complex medical conditions.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in Conway; a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Harding University in Searcy and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy also from UCA. He is also a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Don and his wife, Robin, have three children; Grant, Alicen and Auburn. They attend church at Center Hill Church of Christ.
