Arkansas Methodist Medical Center provides a wide range of services in the Imaging Department. Detailed images of the body are produced; they are then read by a radiologist. He or she looks for problems and then sends a report of his findings to the patient's doctor. Arkansas Methodist Medical Center continually strives to enhance our services and meet the need for quality medical services that are cost effective and accessible to the people we serve. We are constantly expanding our equipment with the latest technology available. We work hard to exceed the expectations of the patients and referring physicians. All technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. They are certified by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services as well as current members of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Our technology is just as impressive as our people. In addition to our advanced diagnostic services, we have dedicated diagnostic rooms located in the radiology department as well as the emergency department to allow faster emergency services. The Radiology Department is conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital. All services are located within the Radiology suite. We have additional radiology services in the outpatient department of the Professional Office Building, located on the third floor.
Advanced Diagnostic Technology
Advanced technologies make diagnosing problems such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, infection, trauma, and muscle or bone disorders much easier to detect than regular x-rays. Click on the services below for more information on the Imaging Department at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
