| Description: | The Radiology Scheduler is responsible for scheduling radiology procedures for outpatients in a competent and efficient manner: obtains required patient information, verbal orders when needed, insurance information, and pre-certification information in order to complete the scheduling process in the most accurate method possible. Pre-registers patients prior to scheduled test, manages no-shows and cancellations to ensure high productivity rate in radiology department. Effectively interacts with hospital staff and physician office staff while maintaining standards of professionalism. | Requirements: | At least one year of computer experience and excellent people skills. Radiology procedure and Medical Terminology knowledge. |
