Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Ambulance Service is a 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year. We provide ambulance services to Paragould, Corning and Rector. All EMTs and Paramedics are State Licensed and/or National Registered and trained in advanced care for all ages. All Paramedics are trained in advanced courses such as International Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
We provide a wide range of services from preventative care, diagnostic evaluations, and hearing aid selection an adjustment for newborns to geriatrics. All services are customized to the individual’s needs. We provide newborn hearing screenings for all babies born at AMMC, as well as, follow-up care post discharge. We offer tinnitus and vertigo evaluations and rehabilitation options. AMMC Audiology also offers a variety of assistive listening technology to improve all aspects of an individual’s life. AMMC's Critical Care Unit (CCU) is a 10-bed unit that provides intensive care and monitoring services to critically ill patients. The CCU is a combined intensive medical, surgical, and cardiac care unit. Patients are admitted to the Critical Care Unit when the physician believes close observation and technically skilled support are necessary. This requires a unique blend of sophisticated equipment, specially trained nurses and other healthcare professionals.

The Emergency Services Department at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center offers a 24-hour service to the area and is often the first experience an individual may have with AMMC. All of our professionals working in the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Emergency Services Department are highly trained and experienced at providing emergency care and provide 24-hour physician coverage. The Arkansas Department of Health recognizes Arkansas Methodist Medical Center as a Level IV Trauma Center.

The Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Home Health Agency provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, home health aide services, and medical social services to individuals of all ages in Greene and Clay counties. We also provide lifeline, homemaker and personal care services. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, private pay and are also an Elder Choices Provider. Our home health center was the first hospital-based program in a five-state area and is one of the top providers of home health in the nation.

The Department of Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Laboratories at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center offers a full range of diagnostic services in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology (laboratory medicine) to both hospitalized patients and outpatients. Under the direction of the board-certified pathologist, Terri Green, M.D., the clinical laboratories at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center test blood and other body fluids and tissues to provide a primary diagnosis along with treatment options for the disease.
Physical therapy provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for both adults and children to relieve pain and/or to restore function. Arkansas Methodist Medical Center’s Licensed Physical Therapists work closely with the patient's physician to develop customized programs to address their individual needs.
Sports TherapyThe Sports Medicine Program provides full-time and part-time, on-campus licensed athletic trainers to the Paragould and Greene County Tech School Districts as well as part-time trainers at Crowley's Ridge College. The Foundation Station serves hot or cold Starbucks product and is open M-F 7:30 am – 3 pm.

The Labor and Delivery Department is located on the second floor with four Labor and Delivery Rooms and a Cesarean Section Room. The Nursery is located on the second floor and is divided into a regular and an isolation area with a work room located between the two areas.

In addition to being Cribs for Kids partners, AMMC is recognized for following safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and providing training programs for parents, staff and the community. Community outreach includes the Beautiful Beginnings Prenatal Education classes.
Paragould Wound Healing Center is a Department of St. Bernards Medical Center in collaboration with Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and specializes in the latest therapies for hard-to-heal wounds. Our physicians are certified wound care and hyperbaric medicine experts and treat both chronic and traumatic wounds that haven't healed in 30 days.
